How does (POD) print-on-demand work? In view of the uncertain prospects for books by unknowns, we take the risk and offer a specialized plan tailored to the needs of the new or lesser known authors. How, you may ask? You, the author, pay a nominal fee for the publication of your book. In return for the fee you pay, we publish fifteen (15) copies of your book and you can receive up to 45% royalty of the retail price of books sold, and a 70% royalty for e-books. What is Rapha’s role? Rapha Publications publishes an attractive edition of your book, and we simultaneously make it available as an e-book. We further execute the promotion program that is outlined in your contract. For example: We send promotional mailings to bookstores, libraries, jobbers, wholesalers, radio and television stations suggesting they order your book. We make your book available with online booksellers, such as amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and google.com. Your book is listed in an annual wholesaler’s catalog in which your book is described. This is just the beginning of what Rapha offers toward getting your book published. |
